Position:​​​  Merchandise Parts & Services Associate

Responsibilities & Authority:  

​

The Merchandise Parts & Services Associate supports all Operations within Parts & Service. This includes direct interface with OCC Systems:  Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Operations. The Parts & Services Associate will also be in communication with OCC Systems Customers and Suppliers. This includes gathering requirements in order to provide merchandise quotes.

Duties:

​

• Create and maintain merchandise job log for customer RFQ's within the OCC Job Folder System

• Create detailed estimating spreadsheets and estimating summary spreadsheets

• Create merchandising parts & service quotations

• Create production orders and advanced bill of materials (AMB's) within OCC Systems Job Track System

• Maintain and manager merchandise job production orders

• Maintain and manage parts and service scheduling within the OCC Systems production order spreadsheet

Organization Structure & Reporting:

​This position reports to the Merchandise Parts & Service Manager

​

Qualifications:

​

• Working knowledge of the manufacturing techniques and commodities employed in the conveyor industry 

• Good understanding of conveyor systems used in automotive is preferred

• Experience with power transmission terminology

• Working experience with pricing and estimating

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

• Associates Degree or 2 year apprentice with 5 years of industrial experience is preferred
